The OpenMediaLib has been rewritten from the ground up as a powerful and efficient cross platform media handling engine. While it is still incomplete, and there is a lot to do in order to get it off the ground, it is quite stable.
The OpenMediaLib also includes several test cases inlcuding a encoder and a player. the player fully functional on both Windows and Linux. It can be found in test/openmedialib/store
A more comprehensive player based on the QT toolkit is also available. It can be found in test/openmedialib/qtplayer. Please refer to the Installation instructions available in SVN.
